Management of Advanced Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. 37, 000 men are diagnosed each year, and one man dies every hour. As the incidence increases so too does the burden for health care teams, both in primary and secondary care settings.
This free education meeting jointly organised and hosted by the British Association of Urological Nurses and The Prostate Cancer Charity is designed to develop and update health professionals in any clinical setting caring for men affected by advanced prostate cancer.

ACA Care Home Workshop, End of Life Continence Guidance

Two identical study day sessions will be hosted on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th May 2012. These workshops are relevant to everyone involved in end of life care.
The content highlights the impact bowel and bladder dysfunction can have on residents/ clients / patients dignity and quality of life. The sessions explore the rationale for using specific products and treatment modalities at the end of life.
