“Fitwise Management Ltd has provided membership management and bookkeeping services to the Infection Prevention Society (1,900 members) since 1996. More recently Fitwise has provided professional conference organisation for the 3-day IPS Annual Conference and numerous specialist and local study days.
The Fitwise Team provides a comprehensive service, their excellent industry knowledge means that the IPS Exhibition has grown hugely over the past three years and now comprises of over 100 companies and 1,300sqm. of exhibition space. “I was fortunate to employ Mr John Matthews and his team at Fitwise following very robust recommendation from an experienced London design centre manager as ‘the best in the business’. His team were employed to handle the entire management of the 6th International Paediatric Radiology Congress at the end of May 2011 in London.
This five day event attracted a much larger than anticipated involvement from international speakers and delegates, (1,200 delegates - normally 700, 250 speakers - normally 80) and this was a direct result of the way that the meeting was designed, planned and run with many simultaneous session on offer which required attention to detail and much more complex organisational skills.
The results were innovative and superb in quality and all aspects of the event were handled with style, flair and calm professionalism. The team were always in control and omnipresent throughout all aspects of the event including all of the social functions and absolutely everything went beautifully and smoothly. The team were always smiling, happy, calm and genuinely love what they do which shows in the quality of all their tasks.
The AV (which is the most important aspect of a Radiology meeting and meets with inevitable criticism normally) was superb, setting a new standard for presentations which will be adopted for future events.
All in all the event took a logarithmic scale leap forward and it has set new standards and challenges for whoever takes on the IPR event in five years time. Mr Matthews and his team have become international celebrities in the world of Paediatric Radiology and I am very proud of the results of the meeting.”

‘Fitwise recently managed our joint conference in Cardiff hosted by the Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals (AHCP) and the Infection Prevention Society (IPS) in Wales.
