February 2017

We all kicked off the new year by starting a Walking Club which meets every Friday lunchtime and involves a walk around our beautiful office grounds. Staff get to enjoy a slightly longer lunch break which enables them to put on their walking boots and get some much needed fresh air as well as an opportunity to catch up with colleagues and to be more active!



April 2017

The team successfully donated an eggstatic 75 Easter Eggs to RiverKids Scottish Children's Charity. Registered Scottish Charity Scottish Charity No. SC037312.


We are hosting a Pub Quiz event on Thursday 20th April 2017 at The Crown Inn, East Main Street, Blackburn, EH47 7QT. If you would like to join us, please get in touch with or you can buy tickets directly from The Crown Inn. Tickets cost £5 each with a maximum of 6 on each team. Raffle tickets will also be available on the day. There will be 2 raffles taking place during the pub quiz, not just any raffles: a snatch raffle where you can win more than 1 prize and a stand up bingo! Just £2 per ticket gives you not one, but 2 chances to win a selection of vouchers and prizes!

June 2017

Employee Ownership day is the 30th June and we will be celebrating together in the office with lunch which will be complimentary of Fitwise.



July 2017

Our annual team development day will be held this summer and it gives staff the opportunity to come together and have some fun! We provide an educational session in the morning followed by some team building games.



September 2017

As with previous years, we will be taking part in a sponsored walk to raise money for RiverKids Scottish Children's Charity. Registered Scottish Charity Scottish Charity No. SC037312.



October 2017

We will be celebrating Halloween again this year with a competition for the best fancy dress costume in the office.



December 2017

We will be taking part in Christmas Jumper day with all participants donating £1 to come to work wearing their favourite Christmas jumper. The money we raise will be donated to RiverKids Scottish Children's Charity. Registered Scottish Charity Scottish Charity No. SC037312.





Administrator (Events Dept) - Closing date Friday 11th August 2017

Salary: circa £17,000 + overtime + performance related bonus*
*Overtime will be paid for hours outside contract at basic salary rate.  Bonus is not guaranteed and is dependent on the overall performance of the company.

At Fitwise we specialise in delivering healthcare events and have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our events team based at our offices in Seafield, West Lothian.

The successful candidate will provide administrative assistance and support to the events department.

Candidates must meet the following criteria;

  • Previous administrative or secretarial experience in a professional office environment
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner
  • Clear and concise written and verbal skills
  • An innate desire to help people and solve problems
  • Ability to work under pressure during exceptionally busy times
  • Good IT skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn new IT systems
  • Attention for detail and accuracy
  • Methodical approach to work and time management and has the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Works well within the team and is self-motivated
